You are so fly.....

Whew - feels like it has been awhile since I have been able to sit and just play with my cricut and my copics.  Today I set out on a goal to make a few cards.  I love this image from KennyK.  The image was colored with my copics and the sentiment is computer generated.  When I finished the card it looked like it was missing something so I added the bling in a swirl design for some added dimension.  The color combination was inspired by the stampin' up background paper that I found in my scrap stash.

Copic colors used:

Skin: E27, E25, E21
Eyes: E47
Lips: E59, E39
Hat: E49, E47, E43
Hair: C9, C7, C5
Shirt, belt, & Button on hat: YR23, YR18, YR16, YR14,
Jeans: B97, B95, B91
Shoes: C4, C2, C1 & B93, B91

Isn't she sassy??

I fell in love with this image when I came across it on Kenny K's website!  I had to get her (and of course a few others).  She is a digital stamp and I colored her in with my copics.  Still thinking on a sentiment for the card.  Any ideas??  I want to emboss it across the top in silver.  This card just may find it's way down to Georgia to see my little sister!

Scrapbook in a box

I made this scrapbook in a box for a swap that I am in on the cricut message board. I love making these - they are so easy and fun! I followed this tutorial on how to make them and just added my own twist on the embellishmentsand I am loving how it turned out and hope that my secret sister likes it too!

Fun with vinyl!

Okay so my husband and the dog took a road trip, so I was left completely unattended and decided to play with vinyl & the cricut and do some decorating.  I love coffee themed kitchen and had so much fun creating these coffee cups and coffee themed words.  The letters are cut at 5" from the Storybook font and the coffee cup is cut at 5.5" from beyond birthdays!  I need to get some cream colored vinyl so that I can add some steam from the coffee cups.  Thanks so much for looking!

Okay so I could not resist the pink, white and black combo on these thank you cards.  The thank you sentiment and label shapes are cut from the lite cricut cartridge lacy labels - which is my favorite of the lite carts so far.  It is cut at 2 3/3".  I layered them on varying black and white designed cardstock.
