Fashionista Friday Challenge!

This weeks challenge over at 'If the shoe fits....scrap it!' is to Flutterbys.  Show come on over and show us your project!  Anything with wings in your project. Birds, bees, butterfies, fairies, etc.... 

For this weeks challenge I used a digital image from Wags 'n Whiskers - Angelica fairy.  They have so many super cute images and I am so in love with digis for their space saving ability!

Angelica is colored in with copics - colors used (Skin: E11, E13, E15, Dress: R39, R37, R35, R32, R30 & C9, C7, C5, C3, Shoes & Hair: C9, C7, C5, C3, Wings: BG18, BG15, BG11, BG10, Stars: Y35, Shading: C3, C2, C1, C0)

I used diamond dust and icicle stickles on her wings and yellow stickles on the stars to add some sparkle.  Image was cut out using large oval spellbinder, and matted with crowned ovals. 

Cardstock:  DCWV Immortal Love & coordinating cardstock.  (I finally brought myself to cut it!)

Ummmmmm - guess what?  Mother's Day is less than 2 weeks away!  All these holidays seem to sneak up on me every year!  I made this card for my grandmother-in-law.

Bashful Bunny Blog Hop

Fashionista Friday Challenge #75

This weeks challenge over at the Shoe is to use 2 Diecuts, embossing(liquid or dry),clear bling, and any type of distressing.  It has been a long time since I have used a Tilda image and I had so much fun coloring her up for the Fashionista Friday #75 Challenge! 

The green and purple colors just scream SPRING to me & I am so ready for Sprint to get here!  The image is from Magnolia - Tilda with big ribbon.  Image was colored in with copic markers.  The flowers are from iamroses.com - I used some distress ink re-inkers and perfect pearls to add some shimmer and color to the small roses green and cherry blossoms purple.  I used my cuttlebug and circle & floral motifs nesties to add my die cuts and embossing.  The bling is from Recollections - I love their new collection!    Cardstock and ribbon used is  from scraps I had on hand (I love when I can use up my stash and make something beautful).

Spring chick candle

I love making personalized candles.  I made this Easter chick candle for a friend of mine.  The image is Stampavie's Easter Chick.  I colored the image with copics.  I found the candle base at the Dollar Tree (love that store) and embellished it with some ribbon I had in my stash and a rose from iamroses.com.
