FF Challenge #91 & Design Team Call

It's time for Fashionista Friday over at If the Shoe Fits....Scrap It!  We want to see how the September birthstone, Sapphire, inspires you!  So show us your fab creations using the colors of this precious gem!  I am super excited - because September is my birth month and I simply love my birthstone.

We are looking for some NEW SHOES to join our DT! Our Fall/Winter DT Call is ON! We are looking for a new team of paper crafters of all shapes, sizes, experience and styles!

Details:

Term: 6 months, October 2011 - March 30, 2012

DT Requirements:

• An active blog
• Participate in 2-3 challenges a month and post those challenges on your blog
• Regular internet access. All challenges are posted in the Shoe DT Yahoo Group and members will need to check in periodically
• Be able to work with digi image

What we can offer you:

• An opportunity to meet new people and make new friends
• Exposure to a new audience
• A link to your blog direct from the Shoe homepage
• fun and games along the way!

Fashionista Friday Challenge # 82 ....

This weeks challenge over at the "Shoe" is to use June's birthsone - pearl in your creation.  Easy right?  Well come on over and play!

I have had this stamped image in my collection and have been dying to color her up.  She is sooooo cute!  The image is "Hello little butterfly" from Magnolia stamps.  I made this card for my chemo buddy who has just completed her chemotherapy treatment.  So proud of her - she has amazed me with her strength.

This weeks Fashionista Friday challenge over at the "Shoe" is black & white with a primary color.  I could not wait to color a black and white image with a bold pop of red.  Image colored with copics (W00-W9 and R29, R27, and R24)  I used some white puffy paint on the socks and bow for some added dimension.

FF #76 Earth Day Challenge!

Happy Friday everyone!  This weeks challenge over at the Shoe is Earth Day!  So come on.....pull out all those scraps of paper, ribbon scraps, stamped images you have been holding on to, etc. and come on over and play!

Faux Postage card

I have wanted to make one of these cards for a long time.  It seemed perfect for this weeks "purple challenge" at  If the shoe fits.....scrap it!.  I followed a tutorial at splitcoaststampers.   The image used is one that I received free online.  I colored the image with copics (colors pictured above).  I added some recollections rhonestone swirls & ribbon.    Cardstock used is by Bazzil.
