I am helping a friend with a Halloween, birthday party using purple, orange and black - so I decided to incorporate this inspiration photo into her card.

FF Challenge #91 & Design Team Call

It's time for Fashionista Friday over at If the Shoe Fits....Scrap It!  We want to see how the September birthstone, Sapphire, inspires you!  So show us your fab creations using the colors of this precious gem!  I am super excited - because September is my birth month and I simply love my birthstone.

We are looking for some NEW SHOES to join our DT! Our Fall/Winter DT Call is ON! We are looking for a new team of paper crafters of all shapes, sizes, experience and styles!

Details:

Term: 6 months, October 2011 - March 30, 2012

DT Requirements:

• An active blog
• Participate in 2-3 challenges a month and post those challenges on your blog
• Regular internet access. All challenges are posted in the Shoe DT Yahoo Group and members will need to check in periodically
• Be able to work with digi image

What we can offer you:

Sundays with Crissy - Challenge 21

This months challenge over at Sundays with Crissy is Friendship!  I took the opportunity to make a Christmas card using one of Crissy cute digital images, called Warm Winter Wishes.  It is available from Whimsy Stamps.  I love it & it was so much fun to color up!

I was really excited to use up some holiday cardstock that I have had in my stash - gotta make room for some new paper stack that I have been eyeballing =).

FF# 90 Challenge - Let's all head back to school!

As summer winds to end, we all get geared up to send all the kids (and spouses - in my case) back to school.  The current challenge over at If the Shoe Fits.....Scrap It! is back to school!  We are sponsored by Whiff of Joy - so one lucky challenge participant will be selected via random.org to win one of their wonderful stamps.  If you have never seen there stamps, or if it has just been awhile since you have seen their collection - please drop by and check them out - here.

For my card I used Willow shopping.  After all, that is how it all begins, right?  The image has been colored in with Copic markers.  The designer paper that I used is Echo Park's - Be Mine!  I have been hoarding this paper stack for almost a year - and finally decided to use this yummy paper up!  I love the colors of this stack and it is good for so much more than Valentine's Day!
