Easter Paint Can

I received my paint can from Erica - my partner in the Easter paint can swap! She sent me this beautiful can stuffed with awesome items. These paint cans are so addicting and I love what she did with it. This is a can that I can display in my craft room all the time!  Thanks Erica for all the great craft items and the friendship, I have really enjoyed getting to know you over that last few weeks and hope to stay in contact!

Sending love your way.........

I just love this Tilda stamp.  I actually colored this image during Valentine's day but ended up not using it.  When one of my friends needed some TLC Tilda came in handy.  I colored her with copic markers.  The hearts are given some added sparkle with some stickles.  I used primas for the flowers in the corner.  The sentiment in computer generated.

Thinking of you cousin!

I made this card for my cousin in California who is going through a rough time!  Just wanted to send her a little note to let her know how much I was thinking of her!  I love this cardstock - it came in an autumn harves pack about 2 years ago & it fit the color scheme that I was going with.

Thinking of you!

I must admit that it did not take too much for me to be bitten by the Tilda & copic bug.  I made this card for one of my closest friends who is going through a rough time.  I made the thinking of you charm by stamping the sentiment with white stazon ink onto blue cardstock, that had been cut into a circle using my cricut, and allowing it to dry.  I then covered the entire circle with glossy accents and allowed it to dry overnight.  I punched a small hole in the top and threaded it floss.  This has become one of my favorite things to do as an embellishment (with no added cost).

Easter Paint Can

I feel like I have been away forever!  Work has been hectic and I have not been on to post in awhile.  I just completed an Easter paint can over on the cricut message board.  I had one of the best partners who was awesome at communicating  & I feel like I was able to put together a paint can that she would love & based on her reaction to the can I did.  We decided to do a paint can that could be used year round instead of the Easter theme.  I truly have come to love these paint can swap.  My can from her should be here tomorrow and I am so excited to receive it!

Happy Birthday Theresa!

We have one of the best secretary's around that works for our hospital!  Wednesday is her birthday and I made this card to honor her.  She is a true diva and is never out of style - this card is right up her ally.  I used the forever young cricut cartride for the lady and beyond birthdays for the greeting!  Thanks for looking....

Happy Birthday Mom!

Saturday is my mommy's birthday!  I have been dying to make a card out of acetate and had a piece of 12x6 frosted acetate that I used to make this card with.  I stamped the card with flourished in white stazon ink and then cut out a 3 inch cicle to stamp the happy birthday sentiment and cut the scalloped circle out at 3.25 inches from the cricut mini monograms cart.  It took me several days to decide how I wanted to design the card.  I hope that she likes it!

Handmade journal for a new mom

I made this journal for my friend Ashley who is expecting her first baby in June.  She and her husband have been married for seven months and are so excited to add being parents to their lives.  They are both wonderful people and are inspirations to many.  Ashley wanted a journal to get advice from mom's.  I offered to make a personalized journal and this is what I came up with.  I bought a small composition notebook from Michael's on sale for $0.70 this week and altered it with scrapbook paper and a digital stamp.  Although she is having a boy, I had to add a few subtle feminine touches on there with the ribbon and the female hand complete with rose colored nail polish.  I colored the image with my copics.  I hope that she likes this journal as much as  do.

Wishing you comfort sympathy card

Sympathy cards are one of the hardest cards that I have ever made.  I made this card for a family friend who had a death in her family.  I saw a "brick" style card on another site and used it as my inspiration for a woman who loved flowers!

Love is in the air - and it is time once again for wedding after wedding.  I made this card from one of my co-workers getting married on Saturday.  I used her wedding colors as my inspiration.  The heart stamp is from the Verve Valentine's Day collection.

Pagoda Hello Card

I am not sure when it happened, but I have fallen in love with the lime green, not pink & black color scheme!  I made this card for my friend Linda, who lives in Florida to let her know that I was thinking about her.

This card is a standard A2 card (4.25" x 5.5").  The lime green mat - cut at 4" x 5.25" is embossed on the upper half of the card using the cuttlebug divine swirls folder.  The dragonflies are cut from the Pagoda Cricut cart (I just got it in the mail today and had to make a card out of it).  I used blues stickles to "bling" up the dragonflies wings & used pink rhinestones for their heads!  So much fun making this card, hope she likes it as much as I do!
