You're in my prayers!

Inside of card:

Today is bittersweet.  I am headed to a funeral for a an 8 year old girl!  While that weighs heavy on my heart, I know that she is not suffering any longer.  I made this card, in Eve's favorite color (purple) for her mother & stepdad who remained at her bedside for 7 months while she battled brain cancer.

Random Act of Kindness

When I first joined the Cricut message board - so many acronyms were foreign to me!  One was RAK (random act of kindness).  I have signed up for many swaps and have enjoyed being apart of all of them as they have all heped me learn & grow!  One of the members of the board celebrated her 1 year anniversary of doing a monthly swap called happy mail and to celebrate she is sending out some amazing RAK's.  Words cannot express how excited I was last week when 1) this beautiful box was found in my mailbox and 2) I opened it up and found all of these amazing goodies!

Winefest 2010

Every year theere is a huge winefest in Norfolk, Virginia - and every year I am working.......but not this year!  A friend of mine wanted to make glasses for our group that is going and this is our first batch.  We color coded them by couples.  For the guys' glasses we just did monograms (they are a little off but by the 3rd glass of wine I think no one will notice).  We printed the names/monograms off of the computer and just traced them onto the glasses with Marvy DecoColor pens.  Thanks for looking!

Copic Journal

This is another project I made for my secret sister in the mini swap on the cricut message board.  She is a copic fan, like me.  I had made myself one of these copic journals and love it - so I decided to make one for her as well & dress it up a bit.  It has room for all your copic colors you own, so you know just what to wish for.  It also has room to mark your favorite color combos - which I love this feature.  In the back there are 4 pages that allow you to stamp images and make notes.  I hope that she enjoys hers as much as I enjoy mine.  If you want to download your own copic journal it is available here.  Thanks for looking!

Christmas Mini

This is a Christmas mini that I made for a mini swap on the cricut message board.  It was my forst one and i was so nervous.  Some of the girls on that board are truly amazing and put out works of art & I did not want to disappoint my partner.  She received it today and loves it.  It is for her to put pictures of her niece in at Christmas time.  Thanks for looking!
